Tapestries

NOTE: This page reflects only a part of the artist’s works in tapestry. The publication of Focus on a work will complete the collection.

Tapestry, a different medium for Guy Pansart’s works

The artist provided sketches and models, and the tapestries were made in the workshops of the Benedictine Abbey of Belloc in Urt.

In “Urban Impressions”, the artist offers us a map of an imaginary city. Colour and geometry are the order of the day.

“La Farandole” Colour and movement define this tapestry.

“Masque” Here too we find the same notions of colour and movement, but with the added sensation of superimposed layers.
